We are sorry to advise that Tudor Edwards passed away on 20th May 2013 after a period of illness.

Tudor passed away peacefully at the Royal Glamorgan Hospital, Llantrisant.

So ends a ringing career which commenced in 1954 with the University of Bristol Society and ended earlier this year in South Wales with his L&M friends. Tudor's immense ringing record includes the important advances made by Manchester ringers in the early '60's, founder member of Around Ringers, 3000+ peals rung in all parts of the UK and the World with many of the 'greats' of peal ringing.

His affection for this, his local Association, was total and over many years conducted many local peals, always encouraging and getting the best out of generations of local ringers. He will be greatly missed.

Detailed Funeral Arrangements:
Tudor's funeral will be held at 12 noon on Friday 31st May at St Peter's Church Pentre, followed by cremation at 1.30pm at Glyntaf Crematorium, Pontypridd (Cemetery Rd, CF37 4BE).

Refreshments will be available after the service at Comrades of the Great War (Pentre) Club, 55 Albert Street, Pentre CF41 7JX. It is anticipated that there will be opportunities to ring before and after the service.
