Saturday 24th September 2016 saw the annual All Wales Competitions for the Jack Pryor Trophy (6 Bell) and J Arthur Hoare Memorial Trophy (8 Bell) take place at Dolgellau, this year hosted by the North Wales Association.

In what turned out to be an enjoyable and eventful afternoon's ringing, bands representing the Association were vicorious in both sections.

In the 6-Bell Competition for the Jack Pryor Trophy, the band from Llandaff Cathedral were awarded the trophy on account of some "sparking" (judges words!) ringing and the 8-Bell band comprising ringers from across the Association also won their section.

Very well done to Association bands, and commiserations to the other three Guilds/Associations; you caught us on a good day.  See you next year smiley
